Watersports in Valencia
For most people, beaches are just places to relax with a good book, enjoy the sun and cool down with a dip in the sea, and in Valencia you can certainly do that on Las Arenas, Malvarrosa and Patacona beaches. But if fly and flop is not your thing, there are plenty of watersports and other activities on offer for days of fun in the Mediterranean sea this summer.
Valencia was chosen as the host city for the 2007 and 2010 editions of the America's Cup for a good reason: the city's 15 kilometres of coastline often enjoys the perfect weather and sea conditions for sailing. This prestigious competition also left a fantastic legacy in the form of the modern Marina, where you can now find lots of companies offering sailing excursions and other watersports (and also admire the most luxurious super-yachts!).
